Why Oklahoma patios fail early
Most of the OKC metro sits on expansive clay that swells after a storm and shrinks hard in an August drought. Anything sitting on it moves. Add freeze-thaw cycles and a patio built on a thin, poorly compacted base cracks, settles, and pitches back toward the house within a few seasons.
The fix is unglamorous and it is where the money should go: excavation to the right depth, a compacted aggregate base, correct joint spacing on concrete or proper edge restraint on pavers, and grading that actually moves water away from your foundation. We spell all of it out on the estimate instead of hiding it in a square-foot price.
How we price a patio
You get a design first, then a line-by-line estimate tied to that design — square footage, base, material, edge detail, drainage, lighting, and permits as separate lines. If you want to compare stamped concrete against pavers, you see both numbers on the same plan rather than two contractors' guesses.
Nothing is committed until you sign a construction contract directly with your licensed builder, and the deposit is held against that contract.
Where we build
We design and deliver patio projects across the Oklahoma City metro — Edmond, Norman, Moore, Yukon, Mustang, Deer Creek, Nichols Hills, Piedmont, Choctaw, and Bethany — and we know each city's permitting, soils, and HOA landscape firsthand.
